Our Sunday 10am Service
What can I expect at Portlife?

We spend some time every Sunday using music to worship our amazing God.  Someone always speaks, sharing something from the Bible about God and explaining how it applies to our life. Some Sundays we have communion to remind us of Jesus’ death and resurrection. You are welcome to have communion with us or, if you prefer, you can just observe. Another way we worship God is through giving – the church is funded through the generous giving of our church family. The service goes for about an hour and fifteen minutes.

You are not required to do anything at the service. Feel free to participate or just sit and listen.

Kids Ministry
We love kids at our church, and we want them to learn about God while they have heaps of fun!

At our campuses, we have a kids program that runs simultaneously with our 10am church service. As you come to Portlife for the first time, our welcome team will give you specific information for your family.

  • WEST:
    • Babies - We offer a quiet room where you can see and hear the service, while feeding or settling your child
    • Toddlers (18 mths - 3 years) - We offer a supervised program held in the Green Monkeys playground. Socks must be worn in the playground (you can borrow some clean socks if you forget to bring some)
    •  Children (4 years - Year 5) - We offer a fun and interactive Bible-based program with activities and games.
  • SOUTH:
    • Babies - We offer a quiet room where you can see and hear the service, while feeding or settling your child

Questions & Answers

Here are some answers to common questions.

Most people dress in nice casual clothes.

You are very welcome at Portlife, even if you've never stepped foot in a church before. Someone will welcome you as you come in. Feel free to ask them any questions about the service.

You can always ask one of our friendly volunteers for help or more information about who we are and what we do.

We believe that making friends is a big part of church life, as the more we know each other the more we can support and help each other. We encourage you to hang around after the service and meet some other people who go to Portlife. You get a free drink if it’s your first time so it’s a great excuse to get to know us. If you’d rather just go home, that’s fine too.

All of our campuses have car parks but as these fill up, some people find it easier to park in the surrounding streets. We recommend arriving 10-15 minutes early to ensure you have enough time to find a place to park and get a seat before the service starts.

Our West campus is located on a main road with a car park with access parking. There are no steps to enter the building, and no steps inside. We have an access toilet that is also a parenting room with a baby changing station.

Our South campus is located on a main road with a small car park at the back of the building that has access parking. There is ramp access to enter the building.

Our North campus is locoated on the main road, opposite a supermarket, and has an onsite cark park. The Hall is accessible and has an accessible toilet with a baby changing station.

We encourage kids to give our program a go, but they are equally welcome to sit with their family.
